Is your nation eating pig milk? Pig milk will turn you into a piglet.
Debt-based money is rotten. Corrupt currency is money manacles. Debt instruments are monetary maggotry. Rotten money makes rotten men.
“For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.” [I Timothy 6:10]
Man’s source of sustenance molds his personal and social character. Rotten money supplants healthy, social cohesion with ideological conformity and economic collectivism. Rotten money replaces human relationships with economic relationships. Rotten money transforms social teamwork into ruthless, individualist competition for the top spot. This ruthlessness spawns a culture in which every team mate is waiting for his chance to sack and replace the tribal chief with pretense of care for the collective. With this ruthlessness comes a fund of social poisons and ideologies that crop up like weeds and choke out social virtues of thrift, cooperation, and higher purpose.
Remove debt-based fiat money from the equation and half of these perverse, collectivist poisons disappear. The reach of rotten money shrinks with the amputation of its arm. The money supply must be based upon some substance or immutable standard (such as verifiable labor, or commodity, or scarcity). Otherwise the voracious voice of urbanist hunger pushes the presses to glut its insatiable appetite, corrupting the character of all in the path of the money. If you suckle at the teat of a vain prince, you are a vain prinzlet. If you suckle at the teat of a pig, you are a piglet. If you suckle at the teat of a cow, you are a calf. The character of the source nurtures the character of the feeder.
Remove publicly funded education, and more of the socio-economic weeds will wither. Public school is the beginning of ideological domestication and separation of children from their families to join them as child brides to the state. Public education is the foundation of the economic rent-seeking consciousness. Education funded at the barrel of the rent-collector’s gun, molds itself as a justification cult for the rent-seeker. Thus equality in education creates equality in servitude. Public education creates one main outcome–raise more taxpayers, since taxes spawned it, and taxes are needed to grow this noxious tree. The ruling class creates infrastructure to increase his taxing power and widen his reach for economic rent collection, to satisfy his creditor. The “Iron Bank” proliferates the business of forging iron manacles for the mind, guaranteeing future expansion of its reach.
The bank gives rise to two more classes of symbiotic parasites: The medico and the lawyer. Both parasites profit by increasing social chaos, sickness, and enmity. Remove the legal and medical professions, and their endless rent-seeking and class-baiting, and what remains? The remainder is a society of people who must cooperate in, and be aware of, the means of production, if they wish to thrive. With the uprooting of these privileged weeds, urban centers must genuflect to the producer instead of the money-lender, the judge, the health department, and the insurance company.
Although on the surface it appears our systems are corrupted by ideology, such is mere symptom. Men are molded and corrupted, or chiseled and refined, by their source of sustenance. This is analogous to the religious concept of the “bread from heaven” versus the melons and leeks of Egypt, or the glut of quail in the wilderness.
This is why it is written:
When thou sittest to eat with a ruler, consider diligently what is before thee:
And put a knife to thy throat, if thou be a man given to appetite.
Be not desirous of his dainties: for they are deceitful meat.
Labour not to be rich: cease from thine own wisdom.
Wilt thou set thine eyes upon that which is not? for riches certainly make themselves wings; they fly away as an eagle toward heaven.
Eat thou not the bread of him that hath an evil eye, neither desire thou his dainty meats:
For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee. [Proverbs 23:1-7]
Nations are greedily gobbling monetary “deceitful meat” which is transforming institutions and men into its maggot-ridden image. Eating “the bread of him that hath an evil eye” snares man in a trap. This trap was laid by the mechanism of unregulated contractual bondage: “Congress shall pass no law impairing the obligations of contracts.”
The only way out is ruthless self-restraint, self-imposed poverty, and refusing the benefits of the evil bread (money). Change of heart is prescribed for undoing rent bondage. Mindful restraint is the antidote and pesticide to the poisonous weeds of the financial fuhrers. Although a necessary step, laws alone are not enough to counter this:
“The rich ruleth over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender.” [Proverbs 22:7]
In short: “Come shekels, come shackles.”
